Don't worry I shall explain.
I had what I thought was a very yummy late lunch at a mall restaurant establishment I've happily dined at many times before.
20 minutes later in the Coldwater Creek store, I knew I was in trouble.
So I skedaddled to the facilities, where I managed to drop my purse (and said phone) in the toilet (luckily before I had, ahem, used it).
Forgetting that my phone might have gotten wet, I heard my phone beeping that I had a missed call about 30 minutes later. I took it out of my purse to discover it was, in fact, quite wet, with the screen being funky and button refusing to work.
Luckily, I was a few hundred feet from a Verizon store, where they gave me the number for my replacement insurance thingie. (That $3.99 a month insurance comes in handy)
By the time I got to the pay phone, I was in *QUITE* the state. So I called my dear bona and as you can guess, bawled my eyes out.
I then called the insurance people who could not have been nicer. I even got called Mrs. Bona which was way weird (we're on the same account).
My new phone will be arriving on Tuesday.
