There's an immediate opening for a paid part time Program & Volunteer Coordinator for SuperSibs!, a non-profit organization serving siblings of pediatric cancer patients nationwide and in Canada.
The position is located at their offices in Rolling Meadows, off Hicks between Euclid and Illinois roads.
The position manages program delivery logistics, volunteer communication and scheduling, mailings, supplies, merchandise inventory and database updates.
Additional responsibilities include office assistance such as answering phones and handling participant referrals.
Candidates must be highly motivated self-starters with strong organizational skills, be able to manage and train volunteer teams to perform various tasks and work independently. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well proficiency in computer applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Occasional lifting and moving of boxes, mail bags and supplies is required.
