a few things

I have a Team in Training meeting tonight. Yes, I'm signing up with them again. This time I'll be a Team Captain for the Chicago chapter's Northern Suburbs division. What does that mean you ask? I'll be helping things get set up for Saturday training runs. And yes, I'll be shaking you all down for donations. I'll probably do the P.F. Chang's Marathon in Arizona again. Probably the half, maybe the full. Who knows.

In other news, I'm reading A Change of Heart, the latest book in Philip Gulley's Harmony series. Think Jan Karon's Mitford novels crossed with James Herriot's Yorkshire tales. Good, good stuff. Lord have mercy on Dale Hinshaw.

Help me out!

Hi everyone. As I mentioned earlier, I'm signing up with Team in Training to raise money for the Leukemia Society. My mom died from complications to treat leukemia in 1996 and I walked the P.F. Chang's Rock and Roll Marathon last January in honor of my mom.

I'm walking the 2006 P.F. Chang's Marathon on January 15th (not that far away) in honor of the thousands of blood cancer patients who will be diagnosed this year.
