I'm going to a Brewers game next Saturday. I haven't become a Brewers fan, just that
bona and I are geeky enough to want to visit as many MLB ballparks as possible.
In other essential baseball news, I've just completed my first fantasy trade with someone who wasn't at our wedding.
The game next Saturday is pretty much sold out, but we still got tix for under face value on EBay. *rock*

bona's trashtalking, I'm winning our head-to-head fantasy baseball battle 5-3. - One of my favorite parts of the Chicago Tribune is Jon Hilkevitch's "Getting Around" transportation columns. Yesterday he wrote about the Open Road Tolling signage on the Illinois Tollways. You know those HUGE signs that say "Open Road Tolling. Rod R. Blagojevich, Governor."? They cost $15k apiece. Helpful to know as I'm idling on 294 trying to get through one of many toll booths under construction.
- I had the pleasure of listening to Reynolds Price on Fresh Air yesterday. He has a new book out, Letter to a Godchild (Concerning Faith) that I promptly reserved after listening to the interview. I also checked out The Good Priest's Son. It's excellent so far.
