Lake House is a surprisingly good movie involving three things I'm normally not a huge fan of 1) Keanu Reeves, 2) Sandra Bullock and 3) time travel.
Very artfully done, I must watch the Korean original as well as more of the director's other work.

The movie appears to be mostly shot in Chicago, and represents the city well.

Having another great weekend with [info]bona. Saw King Kong yesterday which was excellent. Don't wait for the DVd on this one unless you have a huge TV and surround-sound speakers.

A couple of my Team in Training friends ran the Disney Half-Marathon yesterday. Their times? About an hour faster than I will be in Arizona next weekend.

Anxiously awaiting today's Disney Full Marathon results.

Tonight I watched My Date With Drew a very fun documentary about a man who tries to get a date with Drew Barrymore.

Last night I watched Ladies in Lavender, a wonderful movie about spinster sisters (Judi Dench and Maggie Smith) who take in a stranger who washes up on their beach. Serious Anglophile geekneess to be had here.

The first movie I saw in 2006 were The Great Muppet Caper which not only hysterical and recommended by [info]bona...is also set in London (squee!)

The second movie was Millions a wonderful movie set in Scotland ([info]costello1177 are you listening?) about a young boy who "happens" upon a large amount of money while having visions of saints. It's quite brilliant.
